School may be out for the summer, but AMASavesLives does not take a break!
Many of you may be done with school already (others are proably getting close) and looking forward to a few months without classes. While school is out for the summer don’t forget about AMASavesLives because we are not taking a break! AMA sponsored competitions run through the end of May and then a new round starts for the summer on June 1st.
The summer provides some new opportunities for you to share the message and importance of organ donation.
- Have a summer job or internship? Ask if you can promote AMASavesLives by sending an email out to all employees.
- Ask your parents to do the same at their job.
- Continue posting messages on your Facebook, Twitter, and other social media to get people to visit www.AMASavesLives.com
- Film new videos
- Heading back home for the summer and catching up with high school friends? Make sure to tell them about AMASavesLives and the importance of being an organ donor.
- The summer months are filled with community events…get a group of AMA members together and promote AMASavesLives and organ donation at the event!
- Come up with your own ideas for summer and share them here and on the AMASavesLives Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/AMA-Saves-Lives/178553046540)
- AND DON’T FORGET TO INCLUDE AMASAVESLIVES IN YOUR PLANS FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR!!!
