Don’t forget to keep promoting AMASavesLives during the summer months…WI’s new registry is up to 14,000+ registrants since April 1st. We need to help get the word out that everyone needs to sign up again!

Hi Family and Friends:

I have an important favor to ask (I get extra credit for class) - - a task that will take only a few minutes and you can save lives!

Starting April 1 of this year Wisconsin launched an “online organ donor registration system.” That means EVERYONE in Wisconsin needs to reregister as an organ donor to get in the online database (even if you did so when you got your driver’s license). BECAUSE HARDLY ANYONE KNOWS THIS, PLEASE PASS ALONG.

Here is my favor - - please click the below link which allows you to register online. You will need your driver’s license to register. This will only take 2-3 minutes!
If you have a driver’s license in another state, the below link will also work.

Here are some helpful hints when you sign up….but you can really just follow the links.

1. Tell them that you learned about this from “AMA chapter in WI,” and select UW-Whitewater….this helps my school get credit!

2. Hit submit and select Wisconsin (or select your state if not from Wisconsin)

3. Then click http://www.donatelifewisconsin.org

4. Then click Please Add my Name to the Wisconsin Donor Registry

5. Then provide driver’s license number/last name and fill out other information

6. LASTLY….when they ask you how you heard about this, select…. AMA SAVES LIVES INITIATIVE
