Competition Deadlines
All AMASavesLives Competitions have a Fall and Spring competition period with all competitions starting over for the Spring semester. Chapters can choose to be involved during one or both of the competition periods and therefore could win awards in both the Fall and Spring.
Please note that while all Fall competitions have the same end date of December 16, 2011, the Spring competitions have one of two deadlines (1) March 16, 2012 (Events & Best Video: to allow for judging by Donate Life America) or (2) Noon Central time on March 23, 2012 (Video Views, Total Videos, Registrations, and Facebook Posts). Read below to find deadlines and other details for each competition including award amounts.
Best Video of the Year
- Fall Deadline:Videos must be submitted by 11:59 PM Central on December 16, 2011 for FALL nomination period
- Spring Deadline: Videos must be submitted by 11:59 PM Central on March 16, 2012 for SPRING nomination period
- Judging: 5 videos will be nominated in Fall and Spring (10 total) by organ donation experts and marketing professionals and top five will receive additional awards as Best Video of the Year
- Total: $3,750
- Details: 1st = $1,000, 2nd = $750, 3rd = $500, 4th = $300, 5th = $200; plus $100 to all 10 nominees
- Chapters can enter more than one video and win multiple awards in this category
- Make sure to review video eligibility rules/guidelines concerning copyrighted material and other details

- Fall Deadline: October 1 to December 16, 2011
- Fall Award Total: $700 to 10 chapters
- Fall Details: 1st = $150 (one winner), 2nd = $100 (two), 3rd = $50 (seven)
- Spring Deadline (Restarts at 0): January 15 to Noon CDT, March 23, 2012
- Spring Award Total: $900 to 10 chapters
- Spring Details: 1st = $150 (one winner), 2nd = $125 (two), 3rd = $100 (two), 4th = $75 (two), 5th = $50 (three)

- Fall Deadline: October 1 to December 16, 2011
- Fall Award Total: $1,000 to 10 chapters
- Fall Details: 1st = $200 (one winner), 2nd = $150 (two), 3rd = $100 (two), 4th = $75 (two), 5th = $50 (three)

- Spring Award Total: $1,300 to 10 chapters
