Get Others Involved!

Don’t keep the message of Saving Lives to yourself! Get others from your campus, your community/region, and your family involved with AMASavesLives. Here are a few ideas of who to get involved and how!

Who Else Can You Get Involved?

Campus – Get other student organizations including fraternities and sororities involved in raising awareness on organ donation and help them register through AMASavesLives.com!

Community/Region – Reach out to local high schools, businesses, or even community organizations. Don’t forget about Professional AMA Chapters in your area - - you may be able to reach not only their membership but their co-workers, families, and others!

Family – Don’t forget about your family. Parents, siblings, and other relatives should know about your decision to be an organ donor. Tell them how they can sign up and ask them to contact their family & friends too!

What Can You Do?

• Give organization leaders a sample email to send to their members

• Send someone to their meetings to speak about AMASavesLives, organ donation & how to sign-up as an organ donor

• Ask to bring laptops to their meetings and help people through the sign-up process

• Partner with these organizations to co-host events, presentations, or other activities to raise awareness

• These are just a few ideas…be creative and come up with your own and let us know so that other chapters can help raise awareness
